Coffee. Animals. Actual Support.

Rescues Doing the Real Work.

There are loyal people out there doing the work.

Not the easy part. The feeding, cleaning, rescuing, treating, fostering, transporting, training, and finding-a-way part.

That matters.

Helping them keep going matters, too.

Who We Are Supporting Now.

As we launch, we are supporting two rescues: All About Equine and spcaLA.

They do different work, but the point is the same: helping animals get care, safety, and another chance.

Later, we may update and add to the rescues we support. So join the list. Watch our social feeds. And tell us about the loyal people doing great work.

Where It Goes.

All About Equine

All About Equine does the hard, physical, daily work of horse rescue.

They rescue and rehabilitate abused, neglected, abandoned, and slaughter-bound animals, primarily horses and other equines. That means food, shelter, handling, veterinary care, rehab, and the slow work of helping animals become healthy enough for the right adoptive home.

Some animals can be adopted. Some need long-term care. All of them need people willing to keep showing up.

All About Equine is based in Pilot Hill, California, and serves El Dorado County, surrounding counties, and Northern Nevada. It is a volunteer-based nonprofit doing the kind of work that is easy to admire and much harder to actually do.

Extended members of the Bad Attitude Coffee & Stuff family have volunteered there and supported them for years. We are proud to join them.

spcaLA

spcaLA has been serving Southern California since 1877. They are a private, independent nonprofit focused on animal welfare, including shelter and adoption services, animal care, cruelty investigations, humane education, training, disaster response, and community programs.

It is not glamorous work. It is necessary work. They protect animals, prevent cruelty, and show up when animals are at risk. That is the point.

There is no national SPCA, parent organization, or umbrella group providing financial support. spcaLA relies entirely on donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations to keep doing good work.

That is why it is one of the rescue organizations we support.

How We Support—With Your Help.

Each organization receives a direct starting contribution from Bad Attitude Coffee & Stuff.

We also donate a percentage of net online sales to the rescues we support. That support is divided equally among them and distributed quarterly. Your online purchases help push that number higher.

The links on this page take you directly to each rescue organization. There, you can learn more about their work and donate directly if you are so inclined.

Either way, it adds up.

If you donate directly, that money goes directly to the rescue organization. Bad Attitude Coffee & Stuff does not process, hold, or take any portion of direct rescue donations. Those donations are between you and the rescue organization.

And because the government insists on clarity: purchases from Bad Attitude Coffee & Stuff are not tax-deductible. Direct donations to rescue organizations may be tax-deductible depending on the organization and your circumstances.

Two rescues. One simple idea.
